I live in apartment building, so I specifically was looking for something that WOULD NOT shake the walls or went super-low yet had a good sound quality and no distortion. My expectations were exceeded by DEQ-8R.
Sound quality is IMO excellent. Integrates perfectly with other speakers. I use it at volume 30-40 (out of 80). Even though this is a smallest sub in DEQ line it has plenty of power. Great for HT and music too. Very solid build quality.
Having remote and LED display in the front is very convenient. Night mode is great.
